Will Kaylee Millis be eliminated from “So You Think You Can Dance” Season 14 on Monday night? Fox

“So You Think You Can Dance” Season 14 will say goodbye to one contestant on Monday night following last week’s first live show.

Fox dropped a teaser from the upcoming elimination on Saturday wherein all of the 10 performances from last week were shown. Comments from judges Mary Murphy, Nigel Lythgoe and Vanessa Hudgens are also heard in the 37-second clip. Towards the end of the trailer, host Cat Deeley says that this week’s episode will be “very, very exciting.” Additionally, the question “Whose time is up” is also written at the end of teaser.

Last week, several contestants and their all-star partners received positive comments from the three judges. Murphy gushed over Robert Roldan’s partnership with Taylor Sieve and said that their routine is one of her top 10 among all of the dances since Season 1.

Lythgoe also had an enjoyable time watching Comfort Fedoke and Mark Villaver’s performance. The judge noted how the duo’s energy is so intoxicating, and he also predicted that they will get very far in the competition.

All three judges were also very happy with Lex Ishimoto’s tap routine with his partner, Gaby Diaz. Not only did Ishimoto’s personality shine through the dance; he also managed to perfect the number even though tap isn’t necessarily his strongest suit.

Unfortunately, if there are a slew of contestants who received positive comments, there was only one who received negative remarks from the judges. Lythgoe wasn’t really impressed with Kaylee Millis’ performance with her all-star partner, Cyrus Spencer. The contemporary fusion dancer took a risk by choosing Spencer to be her mentor since the latter is a hip-hop dancer/krumper.

For their first live performance, Spencer decided to focus on Millis’ contemporary background. However, Lythgoe thought that her performance wasn’t as powerful as the dances of the other nine contestants.

By the looks of it, Millis could be in danger of going home this week if the viewers will decide to base their votes on the actual performances and judges’ comments. Otherwise, anything can happen on Monday night, and an exemplar dancer may also be sent home.

“So You Think You Can Dance” Season 14 airs Mondays at 8 p.m. EDT on Fox.
