“So You Think You Can Dance” Season 14 just named its top 10 dancers!

On Monday night, the 10 all-stars revealed which of their final two members will go straight to the live shows and who will be sent home. Those who were chosen to head to the live shows performed with their all-star counterpart. But not all of them rose to the occasion.

All-star Cyrus Spencer went with his gut and decided to let hip-hop dancer Havoc go. He chose to bring Kaylee Millis to the live shows. But the duo’s contemporary routine wasn’t as impressive as their performance during the final round of Academy. Millis, who happens to be a contemporary fusion dancer, was in her element. However, her attitude appeared to be fiercer in the previous rounds.

Unlike Millis, all-around dancer Lex Ishimoto wowed his all-star partner, Gaby Diaz, and the crowd on Monday night. During the Academy round, Ishimoto struggled to pick up Diaz’s tap dance choreography. But in the first live show for the season, Ishimoto danced and smiled throughout their entire routine. Diaz previously expressed her concern over the fact that Ishimoto looks very serious, but the dancer is finally loosening up.

Meanwhile, Fik-Shun and his partner Dassy Lee performed a well-rehearsed hip-hop routine. But Lee did not necessarily outshine her all-star partner during their performance. The Korean dancer has made headlines since her audition as she was able to mix her expertise in hip-hop with some classic moves.

But if there is one standout performance from Monday night’s episode, it was that of Robert Roldan and his partner, Taylor Sieve. The duo performed a contemporary routine that was packed with lifts and turns. Sieve and Roldan’s emotions were also on point throughout their entire performance, which was choreographed by award-winning choreographer Travis Wall.

Next week, one contestant will be sent home. Host Cat Deeley announced that the voting lines for “So You Think You Can Dance” Season 14 will soon be open. Whoever will be eliminated will return to the hit FOX reality TV competition in the finale, but will no longer be eligible to bring home the $250,000 grand prize.

“So You Think You Can Dance” Season 14 airs Mondays at 8 p.m. EDT on FOX.
