  • Some netizens pointed out that Traci is behaving like "nothing" happened

Tamar Braxton’s sister Traci received massive backlash for promoting herself on social media amid the hospitalization of the “Pieces” hitmaker.

Traci posted a clip and a bunch of photos from her upcoming project called “The Couch.” The project talks about mental health in the black community and she feels “thankful” that she got an opportunity to show her skills as an actress through such an important title.

However, the post did not sit well with her followers and they quickly slammed the singer-turned-actress for self-promoting even when her sister Tamar is receiving treatment in the hospital. One of the users wrote that Traci seems to be carrying on with her life like “nothing happened.” The user also suggested that she should be with her sister during this difficult time.

“You sure are just carrying on with your life like nothing even happened like your sister didn’t just almost die. You could be planning her funeral, be thankful you are not and make the relationship right,” the netizen wrote.

Another social media user said that her sister allegedly tried to kill herself and this is what Traci has been posting about.

Meanwhile, another netizen noted that this is not the time to promote, adding that putting money over family is unacceptable.

“I do not care what her contract may say. This is not the time to promote!!!! There is NO way I would be on IG if my sister attempted suicide. Just say NO!! putting money over family is unacceptable,”the netizen wrote.

But some fans did come to support Traci and said people should leave her alone.

One of her fans said that people need to relax because she must have some kind of contract to promote her project. On the other hand, another netizen congratulated Traci for the upcoming project and told her that she should not let the negative comments distract her from achieving something.

Tamar was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital after the reality star's boyfriend found her "unresponsive" in her hotel room on July 16, according to The Blast. As of late, Tamar has been transferred to another medical facility that specializes in mental health.
