Tamar Braxton has been transferred to a new hospital specializing in mental health for further evaluation and treatment, a report said.

Braxton was hospitalized on July 16 after her boyfriend, David Adefeso, found her unconscious in their hotel room in Los Angeles. Days later, the 43-year-old reality star is now "awake and communicating" and has been moved to a new facility as she is "not out of the woods by any means," a source told E! News.

The "Braxton Family Values" star has been working on her mental health before Thursday's incident, but she suffered a few setbacks over the last year, the source said. The insider added that Braxton found quarantine to be "particularly difficult."

Meanwhile, a spokesperson for Braxton told Page Six that she has been appreciative of fans' support. "The outpouring of support that Tamar has received is a testament to the light that she brings to people," the statement read.

The spokesperson also confirmed that Braxton had been "transferred to another facility for further evaluation and treatment."

Tamar was staying at the Ritz-Carlton Residences in downtown LA with her boyfriend when she was found unresponsive, The Blast reported.

Sources told the media outlet that Adefeso called 911 on Thursday night, telling authorities that Braxton had been drinking and had ingested an unknown amount of prescription pills. The insiders also said that Adefeso thinks Braxton may have attempted to take her own life.

Braxton allegedly sent a message to her family hours before she was found unconscious, saying "the only way out is death."

"I am a slave," the message obtained by The Blast read. "I do not own my life. My stories. My pictures. My thoughts or beliefs. I’ve asked my massa to free me. I’m threatened and punished for it."

However, another source close to the Braxtons told E! News that Adefeso doesn't think that his girlfriend had attempted suicide that night.

"David does not believe that she was trying to kill herself, despite experiencing some rough times in quarantine," the insider said, adding, "Finding Tamar like that has left him understandably concerned and shaken up."

The source also confirmed that Braxton's 7-year-old son, Logan, is with her ex-husband, Vincent Herbert.

Braxton’s hospitalization comes just days after WeTV announced the premiere date of her upcoming docuseries, "Tamar Braxton: Get Ya Life!"

She was reportedly emotional due to an ongoing contract dispute with WeTV, insiders told The Blast.
