KEY POINTS

  • LUNA and LUNC prices surge this week
  • LUNA was trading up 6.74% at $1.97
  • LUNC was trading down 0.93% at $0.0001039

The latest data reveals that Terra's new token LUNA is the most searched crypto asset, while its sister token, the Terra Classic (LUNC), is the third most searched digital asset in the crypto aggregator site CoinMarketCap as of Monday.

As the current cryptocurrency atmosphere continues to trade in the green zone and the global market capitalization returns above its $1 trillion level, two coins associated with the recent market crash attract interest from investors who are betting on LUNA and LUNC in anticipation of a potential bullish momentum.

This is evidenced by the recent data that these tokens were the most searched digital assets in the CoinMarketCap. Apparently, despite the historic collapse of the TerraUSD (UST) and LUNC crash in May, some investors continue to have faith in the tokens, perhaps hopeful that they have a shot at succeeding in the crypto market.

LUNA and LUNC were down in the past week but showed improvements this week. On Monday, Terra Classic traded at $0.0001044 while the new token LUNA traded at $1.8893, which some analysts say both tokens absorbed the market's bullish momentum.

LUNA showed off a surge beyond the 200-day MA levels recently, and while the bears tried to drag the price below these levels, bulls seemed prepared to pull the price to $2. Market watchers anticipate that these prices will consolidate for a while and return to a steady uptrend after collecting strength.

But, LUNA has to go beyond the resistance levels at $2.2 for it to maintain its price's steady upward momentum. Terra Classic (LUNC), on the other hand, continues to move within a symmetric triangle and consolidation will most likely continue mid-week.

Market watchers anticipate a potential breakout but based on the token's movement; it might as well be a short-lived one. LUNC should at least hit the 0.00012 prices to see an uptrend.

As of 3:11 a.m. ET on Tuesday, LUNA was trading up 6.74% at $1.97 with a 24-hour volume of $256,694,392 while LUNC was trading down 0.93% at $0.0001039 with a 24-hour volume of $164,452,671 based on the latest data from CoinMarketCap.
