  • Tesla Cybertruck might feature folding rear seat

The Tesla Cybertruck is a revolutionary vehicle not only in design but also in specs. Tesla CEO Elon Musk has made sure that consumers will be very interested in the all-electric pickup truck by providing smaller bits and pieces of details about the upcoming vehicle. In addition to what we already know, the Tesla Cybertruck might feature a folding rear seat.

On the social networking site Facebook, a user named Torry Merriman based in Ohio spotted a latch in the second row of the Tesla Cybertruck. The assumption is that the latch is indicative that the rear seat of the all-electric pickup truck can be folded or flipped up and down. Others assumed that the folding rear seat could also provide more storage space in the cabin.

It would also come handy to those who require extra space beyond the massive vault and several storage slots of the Tesla vehicle.

Popular pickup trucks in the US features folding rear seats or rear benches. It is available in Ford F-250 Superduty XLT and Ram 1500. The Ford F-250 offers fold-flat lockable storage on its rear seat. Meanwhile, the Ram 1500 provides interior storage of 15.1 liters that includes in-floor storage for some of its Crew Cab variants.
