A man wanted for murder has abducted his ex-girlfriend and her one-year-old child from their home in Texas.

On Tuesday, police officers responded to a kidnapping call around 3:17 p.m. at the 6800 block of Windy Creek Drive, near Airline and Wooldridge Road, Corpus Christi.

“Upon arrival, officers were informed that 24-year-old Kristian Garcia entered the residence of his ex-girlfriend, 18-year-old Jezabel Zamora without consent,” said Corpus Christi Police Daily (CCPD) in a statement.

At the time of the kidnapping, Garcia was wanted for murder and aggravated robbery, reported ABC News-affiliated KTRK-TV.

Witnesses at the scene informed officers that Garcia forced Zamora and her daughter, Zaylee to leave with him against their will. Police believe that the mother and her toddler are in danger and a CLEAR alert and an AMBER Alert have been issued for both of them.

“All parties were last seen leaving in a white in color, 2007 Cadillac Escalade with Texas plates,” CCPD said in the statement.

Garcia is said to be 5’7 with black hair and brown eyes and has a scar on his face and visible tattoos on both of his arms.

The teen mom is said to be 4’11 in height with black hair and brown eyes. According to the police, she has several tattoos including her daughter’s name, a rose and a medusa. She was last seen wearing a camo tank top and blue jeans. The toddler is said to be 2’2 and Hispanic. Like her mother, she has black hair and brown eyes.

Investigators are asking for help from the public to locate the whereabouts of Zamora and her daughter. People with any information regarding the incident or the suspect vehicle can reach the Corpus Christi Police Department at 911.

Last month, an AMBER alert was issued for 2-year-old Noah Gabriel Trout, who was abducted by a stranger from a church nursery in Virginia. The suspect had driven the child 70 miles away from the abduction site and shaved his head to make him unrecognizable. The 2-year-old has since been reunited with his parents.
