  • Aside from bonus contents, fans will get a limited-edition Birdhouse deck
  • "Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2" is set for release on Sept. 4

The remastered version of “Tony Hawk’s” classics is coming in September, and there is a lot more to expect from the game.

Apparently, with the collector’s edition of “Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2,” fans will also get a full-sized skateboard deck plus some bonus content!

As usual, when buying the more expensive collector’s edition, there always comes some sort of physical item. Usually, games give away statues, maps, posters, and more. However, for the upcoming “Tony Hawk’s” game, it stays true to its brand and offers a limited-edition deck with a Birdhouse design – a familiar look for hardcore skaters.

Just for good measure, it also features Tony Hawk’s autograph.

Aside from the item, the collector’s edition also comes with the deluxe edition’s in-game goodies. Per Gamespot, the bonus includes “The Ripper” skater and retro attires for Tony Hawk, Rodney Mullen and Steve Caballero.

There’s also a unique retro content for the Create-A-Skater mode.

These freebies are certainly exciting for fans, though interested individuals will have to shell out $100 for the said edition. The standard edition of the game costs only $40, while the deluxe edition is priced at $50.

“Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2” is scheduled to be released on Sept. 4 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

As reported recently, the game is a remaster of the first two “Tony Hawk’s” from 1999 and 2000, which brings back “original maps, original skaters, and songs from the original soundtrack.”

Of course, there are new features in the game, such as an online multiplayer and local multiplayer mode. Extra challenges have also been added, along with the ability to share custom skate parks online in Create-A-Park.

Moreover, in response to some concerns that “Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2” will be featuring the remasters as two separate games in one package, Vicarious Visions COO Simon Ebejer set the record straight and confirmed there’s a “meta” that connects the two.

“We didn’t want the game to be ‘Okay, you play Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1, and then play THPS2 and start over from scratch, just like you would have if you bought the games back in the day,” Ebejer explained, per The Verge.

“The meta that sits over the top of everything allows players to not feel like they’re losing progress by playing either one of the games.”
