A new year means a new year for all new television. From the adaption of Celeste Ng’s best-selling book “Little Fires Everywhere” to a new Ryan Murphy show called “Hollywood,” there is a lot to look forward to.

Below is a list of 10 television shows coming to different streaming platforms including in 2020.

1. “Hunters”

  • This show is executive produced by Jordan Peele, known for his hit movies “Get Out” and “Us.” Peele described the show to the Hollywood Reporter in 2018 as “frighteningly relevant” and “exactly what [he wants] to see on television.”

  • Release Date: TBA. Rumored early 2020.
  • Starring: Al Pacino, Dylan Baker, Logan Lerman and Tiffany Boone.

2. “The Outsider”

  • This new mini-series is based on Stephen King’s bestselling novel with the same name. This is the latest King book to be adapted into a show following “Mr. Mercedes,” “Castle Rock” and “The Mist.”

  • Release Date: Jan. 12.
  • Starring: Jason Bateman and Ben Mendelsohn.

3. “Avenue 5”

  • Armando Iannucci, who is credited for making “Veep,” is the creator of this futuristic show. Will Smith serves as an executive producer on the new comedy series.

  • Release Date: Jan. 19.
  • Starring: Hugh Laurie, Josh Gad, Suzy Nakamura and Zach Woods.

4. “Star Trek: Picard”

  • This will be the first time Patrick Stewart’s character, Jean-Luc Picard, will have a role since the movie “Star Wars: Nemesis” premiered in 2002.

  • Starring: Patrick Stewart, Brent Spiner, Jeri Ryan, Marina Sirtis and Jonathan Frakes.

5. “High Fidelity”

  • This is a remake of the 2000 movie (which was an adaptation of the book by Nick Hornby) that starred John Cusack. Instead of London, this new series will be based in Chicago and have a female lead.

6. “Little Fires Everywhere”

  • It was recently revealed that the two leads made $1.1 million per episode to star in this new series. It is based on Celeste Ng's bestselling novel of the same name.

  • Release Date: March 18.
  • Starring: Reese Witherspoon, Kerry Washington, Rosemarie DeWitt and Joshua Jackson.

7. “Hollywood”

  • Ryan Murphy, the creator of "American Horror Story," is expected to have a huge hit with this series. He said the show is a "love letter to the Golden Age of Tinseltown," according to The Hollywood Reporter.

8. “Selena: The Series”

  • This show is based on the life of the famous pop star Selena Quintanilla. Some of her surviving family members, including her dad and her sister, serve as executive producers on the show to ensure that it will be as accurate as possible.

  • Starring: Christian Serratos, Gabriel Chavarria, Ricardo Chavira and Noemi Gonzalez.

9. “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier”

  • This new Marvel show will pick up after the "Avengers Endgame" and follow Sam and Bucky, according to Men's Health. With the movie franchise breaking records and having such a huge fan base we can only assume that this series will be just as big.

10. “Utopia”

  • This will be the US remake of the hit British series that first aired in 2013. According to Screen Rant, the British show was canceled after two seasons. The outlet also reported that the show received controversy "due to its violent nature and disturbingly dark themes."
