Former President Donald Trump suggested that late President George H.W. Bush stashed millions of documents in a bowling alley and a Chinese restaurant.

Trump made the comments at a rally for Nevada Republicans, roughly two months after his Mar-a-Lago home was raided by the FBI.

Former President Trump made his comments on the late George H.W. Bush at a rally in Minden, Nevada.

"George H.W. Bush took millions of documents to a former bowling alley, to a former Chinese restaurant where they combined them. So they're in a bowling alley-slash-Chinese restaurant," Trump said.

Trump did not expand the comments. It's unclear where Trump came up with a bowling alley and Chinese restaurant references.

The comment drew attention on social media. George Conway, whose wife Kellyanne Conway worked in the Trump administration, posted on Twitter: "[Trump] is actually getting worse" in response to Trump's comments about Bush.

Twitter reacts to the former president's comments.

There have been no reports to prove the validity of Trump's claims.

Bush, a Republican who was president from 1989 to 1993, was never accused of the improper storage of documents. Bush died in 2018.

In a September interview with Fox News' Sean Hannity, Trump said the FBI may have sought other items from the raid at Mar-a-Lago. "Were they looking for the Hillary Clinton emails that were deleted, but they are around someplace?" he said.
