Amal and George Clooney are reportedly planning to follow Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's footsteps and adopt a baby girl, according to a new tabloid report. However, Gossip Cop has now confirmed this to be completely fabricated.

Heat recently put out a report claiming that Clooney and his human rights lawyer wife are hoping to expand their family of four. An unnamed source claimed in the report that George and Amal want to give their twin boy and girl another little sibling so they are planning to adopt. Amal has reportedly always wanted three kids and is hoping for another daughter.

“It’s something they’ve been talking about for a long time – since before they got married – and now they have decided to go for it, and they couldn’t be happier," the source claimed.

The source also seemed to imply that Amal may be having a hard time getting pregnant again as she had kids relatively late in life. And like Jolie and Pitt, they want to give a child in need a good home.

However, Gossip Cop has clarified that there is no truth to the rumors. The rumor-debunking site pointed out that Heat never provided any details about the supposed adoption, like which countries Amal and George are considering and if they have started the process.

The Clooneys themselves have repeatedly said that they are completely content with their small family. George revealed in a 2017 interview with "Extra" that he is "done" having kids after the birth of their twins.

While speaking to The Hollywood Reporter in the same year, Amal also said that she doesn't want to add to their two babies. She and George seem to have their hands full with just their twins as the lawyer mentioned in her Vogue 2018 cover story that she is still working on "balancing motherhood and a career."

This isn't the first time that Heat has published a made-up story about George and Amal. Back in 2018, they reported that the actor wanted another set of twins. However, Gossip Cop also debunked this report.
