Angelina Jolie has not been starving herself or losing sleep after her divorce from Brad Pitt despite a report claiming the actress is "on the edge of total collapse."

Last year, a report by the National Enquirer claimed that Jolie's pals were terrified that the actress and UN ambassador was on the verge of a breakdown due to lack of sleep and food. A so-called insider reportedly told the tabloid that Jolie only ate a little protein, some steamed vegetables, fruit and water. The only things Jolie frequently consumed were apparently wine and cigarettes, the source claimed.

The National Enquirer report further claimed that Jolie was constantly "light-headed" and on the verge of fainting due to her unhealthy lifestyle. She would apparently go without food and sleep for a long time, which only worsened her condition.

Gossip Cop, however, has debunked this outrageous claim. A source close to Jolie confirmed to Gossip Cop that the actress does not have any dangerously unhealthy habits and takes good care of herself and her six kids. The insider went on to say that there was absolutely no truth to the rumors of Jolie being on the verge of collapsing.

Over the past year, there has also never been a reliable report about Jolie collapsing or fainting. Pitt's ex-wife also doesn't seem to have a problem with food as she has been spotted multiple times eating or buying food in public, whether alone or with her kids.

Back in August, Jolie was photographed leaving a Los Angeles Whole Foods carrying several bags of food. She was also once seen going on an ice cream date with her son, Pax, so she doesn't seem to have an issue with partaking on treats every now and then. In October, she was also spotted enjoying an ice cream cone from Baskin Robbins alone.

Jolie has openly discussed her health and eating habits in the past. In a 2017 interview with Vanity Fair, she revealed that she was "in charge of" her own health. She also touched on taking cooking classes to improve her skills and knowledge.

Meanwhile, this isn't the first time that the National Enquirer has released a report about Jolie collapsing. Just this year, the magazine claimed that Jolie had collapsed while fighting for her kids' custody against Pitt.

Back in 2013, the tabloid also published a false report about the actress' "tragic collapse" in a movie set. Later that year, the outlet also claimed that Jolie fainted during a humanitarian mission in Africa.
