Did Jennifer Aniston ask Justin Theroux to stop stalking her? One outlet has confirmed that the answer is no because there was no stalking going on in the first place.

Star magazine's latest issue has released a story claiming that Theroux had been following his ex-wife around and that Aniston confronted and asked him to stop stalking her. A so-called insider claimed to the tabloid that the "Leftovers" star has been spending more time in Los Angeles nowadays. This is apparently strange as Theroux prefers living in New York and did not want to live in California even when he was still married to Aniston. Their clashing preferences of where they would live as a couple had apparently been one of the main reasons behind the crumbling of their marriage and their eventual divorce.

However, the Star magazine source claimed that these days, Theroux can't get enough of L.A. and has been spotted hanging out in all of Aniston's favorite Hollywood haunts. Theroux is reportedly hoping to "run into" his ex-wife at some point. The questionable tipster went on to claim that Aniston apparently caught on to his plan and confronted him earlier this month.

The report further claimed that Aniston accused Theroux of riding her coattails and wanting to use her status to stay relevant. And apparently, Aniston has asked Theroux to stop following her around as she is ready to move on.

Gossip Cop, however, has debunked these outrageous claims. According to the outlet, Aniston's rep has confirmed that there is absolutely no truth to these claims that Theroux has been stalking the actress and that they had a confrontation. Gossip Cop also pointed out that Star magazine's story has no credibility as no source was specifically named.

This isn't the first time the tabloid has published false stories about the exes to create unnecessary drama. Earlier this year, Star also claimed in a report that Aniston "confronted" Emma Stone over her relationship with Theroux. However, Gossip Cop soon shut down the rumors, confirming that the "Maniac" co-stars have never dated.

Another outrageous report was published by the tabloid in March about an alleged courtroom showdown between the two. Gossip Cop also debunked the claims that Aniston and Theroux will be appearing in court over her fortune. Since they announced their decision to split in February, the ex-couple had never been in any legal battle over money or property.
