Jennifer Aniston is not broken up over her divorce with Brad Pitt and her split from current husband Justin Theroux. During a recent interview, the “Friends” alum revealed she is actually proud of her failed relationships, despite what others may think.

Aniston and Pitt divorced in 2005, a few years later she began dating Theroux and the two married in a private ceremony in 2015. However, earlier this year the 49-year-old and the “Maniac” actor announced they separated at the end of 2017.

Since then, there have been various reports alleging Aniston has been struggling with her single status, but in an interview with ELLE, she had nothing but kind things to say about her marriages to Pitt and Theroux.

“My marriages, they’ve been very successful, in [my] personal opinion. And when they came to an end, it was a choice that was made because we chose to be happy, and sometimes happiness didn’t exist within that arrangement anymore,” she told the publication.

“Sure, there were bumps, and not every moment felt fantastic, obviously, but at the end of it, this is our one life and I would not stay in a situation out of fear,” Aniston shared.

The “Dumplin” star revealed she is doing just fine without a man in her life. “I don’t feel a void. I really don’t.”

Instead, Aniston slammed the criticism women receive when they fail to live up to society’s standards. “That’s part of sexism—it’s always the woman who’s scorned and heartbroken and a spinster. It’s never the opposite,” she explained.

Aniston may be single, but she refuses to allow her failed relationships with Pitt and Theroux to define who she is as a woman.
