Is there trouble in paradise between Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban? A new tabloid report claims that the Hollywood actress has decided to join her husband on his tour to save their marriage. However, there appears to be no truth in this story.

Kidman and Urban made headlines this week when they made a surprise visit to the Sydney Children’s Hospital on Thursday to spend time with the patients and their families there. While the kind gesture of the couple was being lauded by multiple publications including the Daily Telegraph, one tabloid, surprisingly, ran a story on the supposed troubled marriage of the two celebs.

According to the National Enquirer, Kidman is taking some time off her showbiz career just so she could save her marriage with Urban. The “Blue Ain’t Your Color” hitmaker is hitting the road for three months for his Graffiti U World Tour and Kidman has reportedly decided to join him so that he would behave himself.

A supposed insider claimed that Tom Cruise’s ex-wife is “worried sick” over the possibility of Urban relapsing on alcohol and drugs while he’s touring. The source also noted that the gesture is also Kidman’s way of preventing her husband from being alone with groupies who like to throw themselves at the country singer.

The tabloid went as far as claiming that Urban’s tour in Australia and Europe would ultimately become a family affair because Kidman is taking their two daughters with them. The actress is said to be doing this just so she could “keep the spark alive.”

At the same time, the tabloid’s tipster claimed that Urban is not happy with what Kidman is planning to do because for him this shows her lack of trust and his loss of “freedom” to do what he wants while on the road. The insider then concluded that the situation could get messy and Kidman’s plans could actually cause them to drift apart.

It is important to note that Kidman herself has indeed announced that she’s joining Urban on his tour as a way to show support for her husband’s career and music. However, Gossip Cop has debunked the circulating story’s claims of troubled marriage and trust issues between the couple.

The fact-checking website pointed out that churning out baseless reports involving is not new to the tabloid. Furthermore, the narrative that Kidman is joining Urban due to marital problems isn’t really something new as it was first reported by another tabloid, Women’s Day Australia.

There’s also no truth to the claim that Urban is relapsing since the musician himself disclosed during a South by Southwest panel last year that he has already quit alcohol and drugs about 12 years ago thanks to his wife.
