Diddy shutting down Lizzo and not reacting to Draya’s twerking receives mixed reactions from the netizens.

Clips of Diddy’s Instagram Live stopping Lizzo while she is dancing for his “Dance-a-Thon” fundraising event for coronavirus have made the rounds online. The “I’ll Be Missing You” singer has faced intense backlash because some critics felt that he body-shamed Lizzo.

Apparently, Diddy stopped Lizzo when she was twerking. However, Draya did the same dance, but he didn’t react.

“So he stopped Lizzo who can actually twerk/dance but let Draya do whatever it is she doing? Why? Cause she’s attractive to him? Oh okayy Diddy,” one wrote.

“I’m not a fan of Lizzo, but anyway you put it, Diddy was wrong for not keeping that SAME energy with Draya. If it really was about song choice, he shouldn’t have played Back that [expletive] Up,” @Simplyy_Valerie opined.

Meanwhile, several also defended Diddy because they were convinced that he only stopped her due to the music as what he already explained. Lizzo’s song choice included several expletive words in the lyrics.

“Can y’all stop saying Diddy let Draya twerk but stopped Lizzo cause her size?!? Like damn he already addressed why he stopped Lizzo and it was all the cursing in the music on Easter Sunday, not the fact that she was twerking,” @_Tiffaney15 wrote.

“It sounds to me like he wasn’t watching the video, he listened to the lyrics of the song and was like woah to vulgar for today... @Diddy @lizzo...not fat shaming just music censoring,” @SayoSokari added.

“Nope. He stopped the song. Not Lizzo from dancing. Go back and listen to the song and what he said. They spinning a negative narrative to paint it as Diddy body shaming her,” @BabyGirl_Cali wrote.

Meanwhile, Diddy reunited with his ex-girlfriend Jennifer Lopez virtually because the latter also joined the fundraising event. Their reunion wasn’t awkward at all. The “Love Don’t Cost a Thing” hitmaker even brought along her fiancé Alex Rodriguez who turned out to be a big fan of Diddy.
