Diddy did his part to help out amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

The rapper hopped on Instagram Live on Sunday and hosted a dance-a-thon to raise money for frontline healthcare workers in the midst of the COVID-19 outbreak. One of those guests was Lizzo, and all seemed to be fine and dandy until the "Truth Hurts" singer began to twerk as some of Diddy's children danced in the background.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa!" he shouted as he stopped the music. "It's Easter Sunday, let's play something a little more family-friendly."

Although he was referring to the song choice, some viewers took that as a dig at Lizzo, especially after they watched former reality star Draya Michelle show off some similar moves when she appeared on the live stream later. Diddy later cleared up the misconceptions on his Instagram Stories.

"There's one thing that I want to make clear. My queen, my sister Lizzo, when I stopped the music it was 'cause it had a lot of curses in there, not 'cause she was twerking," he said.

"She's one of the best twerkers in the world. Let's keep that clear. It wasn't about twerking. You're allowed to twerk on Easter. There was a lot of cursing in the record. And I don't need child services knocking on my door right now, you understand?" the rapper explained.

"So that's why I stopped the record. Lizzo, we love you and everybody stop looking for the negative, look for the positive!" he concluded.

The 50-year-old, born Sean Combs, was also joined by his ex and Latin icon Jennifer Lopez and her fiancè Alex Rodgriguez.

Diddy and JLo chatted for a moment before showing off their moves to Elvis Crespo's "Suavemante."

"I think I taught you those moves," Lopez joked as Diddy attempted a salsa-like dance.

Lizzo and Lopez weren't the only A-list celebrities to dance for a good cause. The Easter Sunday virtual dance party also featured appearances from DJ Khaled, Rita Wilson, Kelly Rowland, Ava Duvernay, LaLa Anthony, Tiffany Haddish and Naomi Campbell, just to name a few. With big names like that, it's no wonder the fundraiser was such a huge success.

"WE HAVE RAISED OVER $3,000,000!!!!!!" Diddy tweeted before the fundraiser even ended.
