  • Kensington Palace released statements to defend Markle in the past

Twitter users have once again compared Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle due to a report from Tatler.

This week, Tatler published a report calling the Duchess of Cambridge “Catherine The Great.” However, this raised some eyebrows because of the various claims against the duchess.

A so-called insider alleged that Middleton was furious about the massive workload on her plate. In addition, Middleton was reportedly “exhausted” and felt “trapped.” This insider went on to claim that the duchess reportedly had a falling-out with her brother-in-law, Prince Harry, and sister-in-law, Markle.

The Duchess of Cambridge and Duchess of Sussex have been pitted against each other since Markle joined the royal family. Due to the inaccurate report, Kensington Palace responded and defended the future queen.

Several netizens questioned the palace’s move for defending Middleton but not Markle. Meanwhile, others went on to say that the Duchess of Cambridge couldn’t understand being in the Duchess of Sussex’s position as the latter had been targeted by the press non-stop.

“After colluding with Tatler on PR puff piece called 'Catherine the Great' in which Kate moans about being exhausted, overworked at having to clap for the NHS, Kensington Palace is threatening Tatler to delete the story. Kate Middleton couldn't walk a DAY in Meghan Markle's shoes,” one wrote on Twitter.

“Maybe Kate came across as too ‘fragile’,” another netizen wrote.

“She has so little goodwill- one 'bad'article is all it takes to bring her house of cards down!!” another added.

“I’m glad she’s getting the taste of how it feels to be Meghan. It took Kate one article to crack. Stay tune!!!” @nadia98132782 opined.

Meanwhile, some Twitter users stood for Middleton and Kensington Palace. One said that the palace didn’t defend Markle because her nasty behavior was allegedly true. The netizen also encouraged others to stop defending Markle just because she’s black.

“I have heard about MM's fans but have never seen the hatred personally, until now. You ALL sound like a coven of bullies in this thread, try harder,”@Trendyfalcon added.

Many thought that Kensington Palace didn’t defend Markle, but it actually did. One netizen shared snaps of headlines when the palace released statements for the Duchess of Sussex.

Also, some netizens reiterated that Markle is a strong woman and has her husband and own spokesperson, so she doesn’t need Prince William, Middleton and the palace to speak for her.
