Ex-porn star Mia Khalifa received massive support from social media users after she called out all the “incompetent” political leaders of Beirut and demanded for them to step down from their respective positions because they have failed to protect the lives of the Lebanese people.

Taking it to Twitter, the TikTok star wished a very “good morning” to everyone except the political leaders of Beirut who are “yet to resign” from their positions. Her comments come after Beirut was jolted by two massive explosions on July 4 that killed more than 100 people.

“Good morning to everyone except the incompetent political leaders in #Beirut who have yet to resign,” Khalifa wrote on Twitter.

Netizens echoed the same sentiment and were angry about what happened in Lebanon. They also expressed their desire for the country to have new leaders following the incident.

“Unfortunately no [one] will resign nor get punished. We are doomed by having warlords ruling our country. Our President is half asleep, Prime minister wants to know who is responsible... Nothing but a huge JOKE,” a user commented.

“Much negligence in what happened in Lebanon. I support you in the resignation of those current politicians. mia greetings,” another user commented.

“They will never resign, they have gotten used to the good life of sucking the life and blood of the poor. Countries like Lebanon and Pakistan have been plundered by corrupt politicians like these!!!” @omzey wrote.

Meanwhile, several users commented “Mia For President.”

“I want Mia khalifa to become president of Lebanon,” one netizen wrote.

However, some people slammed the former adult film actress for her tweet and said they want justice, not any resignation.

Khalifa has been sharing a lot of links on her Instagram account where people can go and donate to help the people of Lebanon who lost their loved ones due to the twin explosions.

On Tuesday, she blamed Hezbollah, an Islamic political party based in the country, for the massive explosions in Beirut that killed more than a 100 people injured more than 4,000 individuals.

However, her post was met with disapproval from her fans because they felt that it wasn't the right thing to do.
