The newest batch of Hallmark movies continues to be ushered in on the network, with the premiere of “Two For the Win,” starring Trevor Donovan and Charlotte Sullivan.

The movie will be a fun one for Hallmark fans who are used to Donovan, a vet with many titles to his name, including “Love on a Limb,” “Marry Me at Christmas,” “SnowComing” and “Love, Fall & Order,” as well as the Hallmark Movies and Mysteries titles “Nostalgic Christmas” and ”USS Christmas.” He also held roles in the Lifetime thrillers “Escaping Dad” and “The Au Pair Nightmare.”

Fans will also be in for a treat because it may be their first time getting to see Sullivan at work, as this will be her first film for Hallmark. Other credits include “12 Pups of Christmas,” and roles as Anna Truner on “Chicago Fire” and Gail Peck on “Rookie Blue.”

So what will happen in this film?

“World champion ski racer, Justin O’Neill (Donovan) has returned to his family’s ski resort to prepare for the Annual Winter Classic ski race that will mark his comeback after a colossal fall in Austria,” a synopsis reads. “Given that he’s in the later stages of his career, the pressure is on for Justin, and yet, he finds himself without a coach at this crucial time.”

As he tries to revive his career, Justin will be forced to accept any help he can get—which will only come in the form of his former friend and local ski instructor, Kayla (Sullivan). The two will quickly begin to bond and grow closer as they work together—but soon, everything will once again be up in the air.

“After a training setback, Justin and Kayla’s friendship—and possible romance—is on the brink of ending,” the synopsis continues. “Now, Justin must decide if competitive skiing is the life he truly wants or walk away from the only existence he’s ever known to follow his heart and make amends with his family from whom he had grown distant, and most of all...Kayla.”

“Two For the Win” premieres Saturday, Jan. 16 at 9 p.m. EST on Hallmark Channel.
