“Basketball Wives: LA” is losing another cast member. Draya Michele isn’t the only reality star leaving the VH1 series, her cast mate Mehgan James is moving on as well.

Mehgan announced Thursday in a series of tweets that she won’t be returning for Season 5. “You guys, I’m sorry, I’m not coming back to Bbwla. So if you were watching for me, don’t lol Bc I’m not going to be on there,” she posted, adding, “Butttt I do start filming for another project next month. #iKEEPSaJOB. Don’t get it twisted.”

When a fan responded to the tweets, writing that the only reason she watched the show was to see Mehgan, the former “Bad Girls Club” star replied, “I know right, their loss. But the show must go on.”

Mehgan, who joined the show in Season 4, didn’t reveal what led to her departure but reports surfaced in September that she had been fired from the cast. The rumor started after Mehgan and former “Basketball Wives: Miami” star Tami Roman got into a heated argument on Twitter, seemingly about comments Draya made calling Brandi Maxiell’s cancer storyline “boring.”

After the argument Tami alluded that fans won’t be seeing Mehgan on the show anymore. “Boo I’m not fighting/arguing anymore,” she tweeted. “I’m getting ready 4 next season, no need 2 argue w/someone who won’t B there.” Tami eventually deleted the tweet.

As previously reported, Jennifer Williams, who was also on “Basketball Wives: Miami,” teased that she may be heading to the LA version of the show. In an interview last month with VH1.com, Jennifer said that cast member Malaysia Pargo has been trying for a while to get her to join.

“She asked me last year, and I was like, ‘Hell no, I won’t do it. I won’t do it,’” she said. “I recently went to brunch with her, and she was trying to talk me into it … But I don’t know. It’s just kind of crazy because now I live in LA, and ‘Basketball Wives: LA’ is the only one that’s on. I guess you gotta stay tuned for that, and we’ll see.”

“Basketball Wives: LA” was renewed for Season 5 in September, but the cast and premiere date have not been announced yet.
