Angelina Jolie seems to be on a mission to protect the world's bee populations and is willing to go the extra mile to achieve the goal.

In a video shared by Vogue on Tuesday, Jolie can be seen is demonstrating the process of beekeeping while wearing a full beekeeper's suit. She was with a group of graduates of the French Apidology Observatory (OFA).

The actress partnered with UNESCO, OFA and Guerlain in May to save bees and educate women about the importance of beekeeping.

"I thought I knew something about bees and beekeeping and training, and I thought I understood the importance," Jolie said in the video. "But really, when you really dig into it and you really start to learn about what."

The actress went on to explain, "We would lose, 30 percent of the honey bees disappearing. You know, and had we not had the beekeepers and the work of places like OFA, we would lose them."

"As I started to work with Guerlain, we spoke often about the bees and the commitment that Guerlain already had to the bees," she added. "And then we really started to talk about what, what could we do to improve the situation?"

The actress noted that she was not only worried about the bees but also about women in general. She wanted to do something for both.

"What could we do both for the bees and also for women and what would that look like?" she questioned before coming up with the idea of supporting women by teaching them how to look after the bees.

Fans were all praises for the actress for taking the initiative.

One person wrote, "God bless women and people like Angelina who live to help and uplift others in this earth instead of destroying, kill and pushing down," while another fan commented, "So many things that make up this Earth and help us survive."

A user wrote, "She got everything one person can ever dream of but she decided to give a return gift for everything she has received in her lifetime by showing gratitude towards the environment and people who truly need help."

Jolie will be next seen in the highly anticipated movie "Eternals," which is slated to release on Nov. 5. The movie is directed by Chloé Zhao and also stars Richard Madden, Kumail Nanjiani, Salma Hayek and Kit Harington.

She will also feature in "Every Note Played," which is an adaptation of Lisa Genova's romance novel. The movie is currently under pre-production.
