Jimmy Kimmel did not hold back from taking stabs at politicians on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on Monday night during his opening monologue.

First was President Donald Trump. Kimmel revealed that a new YouGov poll uncovered that 53% of Republicans think that Trump is a better president than Abraham Lincoln.

“[Republicans] can’t be serious,” Kimmel laughed. “No one believes Donald Trump was a better president than Lincoln. That’s like saying measles is better than ice cream. It’s not.”

The next attack was made on Trump’s wife and First Lady Melania Trump. Melania uploaded a video on Sunday showing this year's White House Christmas decorations and Kimmel noticed something off about them. Kimmel went on to show her decorations (which were doctored by “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”) showing roses set up with a very obvious message saying "Help Me."

“I feel like she’s trying to tell us something,” Kimmel joked. “I just can’t figure out what it is.”

Kimmel quickly moved on to another politician, Joe Biden, saying that he needs help too. The late-night host made fun of his new bus and Biden's “hot new campaign” called the No Malarkey Tour.

“That’s right the No Malarkey Tour is coming to a senior center near you,” Kimmel said. “Who says politicians are out of touch? It’s like Grandpaloozau is on.”

The late-night host blamed this “number one most embarrassing thing involving a bus and candidate and a bus” on Biden’s social media manager, who he joked was a senior.

Kimmel also made it a point to show that young people don’t know what the word "malarkey" means by hosting his own informal poll. When asked, one person thought it had something to do with art, another person thought it meant banter, and a third person pointed out that it’s a word that “old white people” use.
