Does Justin Bieber have a rap career in his future?

On Wednesday, the 17-year-old entertainer showed off his freestyle skills at Power 106, a hip hop radio station based in Los Angeles.

Rapping to the instrumental version of Otis, the hit single from Jay-Z and Kanye West, Bieber does an impressive job, rhyming for nearly two minutes.

@kanyewest and @jayz i told u i got something for u. haha. much respect fellas, Bieber wrote on Twitter on Wednesday, along with a link to the video.

let's be clear. i love hip hop and i write my own rhymes. hi haterz ;) he later added.

In the video, Bieber, decked out in a grey fedora, yellow print shirt and gold chain, raps about growing up, his girlfriend Selena Gomez and diamonds.

The video is by far Power 106's most popular to date, with more than 230,000 views (the video was uploaded on the radio station's YouTube channel on Wednesday).

Started playing drums when I was only two. Now we're kicking in Japan. Kung Fu, Bieber raps at one point.

Halfway through the Otis rap, Bieber tells the radio hosts to let him keep going.

Wait, I'm not done -- wait, wait. I thank Jesus at the awards I'm never going to hell. Call me Zack Morris I'm saving you by the bell, he continues.

The Otis rap video is a refreshing change for Bieber and his fans.

Earlier this week, the Canadian superstar was slammed with a lawsuit by a 20-year-old California woman who claims Bieber fathered her three-month old child.

According to the woman, Mariah Yeater, the two conceived the child backstage at the Staple Center in LA.

While we haven't yet seen the lawsuit, it's sad that someone would fabricate, malicious, defamatory and demonstrably false claims. We will vigorously pursue all available legal remedies to defend and protect Justin against these allegations, Bieber's rep said in a statement on Tuesday.
