Westboro Baptist Church May Not Allow Ryan Dunn to RIP
It is not Roger Ebert now after Ryan Dunn, but a Baptist Church threatening to protest the funeral of the late Jackass star.
It seems Westboro Baptist Church, which is known for its extreme stance against homosexuality and protest activities, may not allow the daredevil Ryan Dunn to Rest In Peace (RIP).
WBC will picket any public memorial/funeral held for Dunn, warning all not to make a mock of sin, & to fear & obey God the Church said in a statement with headlines stating: Ryan Dunn is in hell!
In His wrath, God cut off his young man in the prime of his life, because he made a mock of sin and taught his fellow man to grievously sin against God! Dunn isn't mocking now! He's in torment, the statement reads.
Dunn, 34, and his 30-year old friend Zachary Daniel Hartwell died in fatal car accident in Pennsylvania early Monday. During the crash, Dunn's 2007 Porsche 911 GT3, which was going at a speed of about 130 miles per hour, went off a road, crashed in to woods and caught fire.
According to police, the accident occurred at 3 a.m. on Route 322 and New Street in West Goshen Township and they say speed may have been a contributing factor to the accident.
I've never seen a car destroyed in an automobile accident the way this car was, even before it caught on fire, West Goshen Police Chief Michael Carroll told Radar Online. The automobile actually came apart. It was unbelievable and I've been on a lot of fatal accident scenes. This was by far the worst I've ever seen.
According to the preliminary autopsy report, both persons died of blunt and thermal trauma when flames engulfed Dunn's Porsche. Toxicology tests on their bodies are being conducted and will be released by the West Goshen Township Police Department upon receipt of the written report of the findings.
DellaVechia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home, Inc said services and interment for Dunn will be private, while a public memorial service will be announced at a later date.
Dunn, who was famous for his willingness to be harmed for the sake of entertainment and fun, starred in three TV shows -Jackass, Viva la Bam, and Homewrecker, all of which showcased his penchant for peril.
Dunn is survived by his immediate family, which includes his father, mother, a sister and two brothers.
