This is not charity, this is work, states the new slogan adopted by British designer Vivienne Westwood and the Ethical Fashion Forum (EFF) for their collaborative collection.

The EFF is a non-profit organization created by the International Trade Centre, an agency of the United Nations. The main aim of the agency is to help reduce poverty through building sustainable trade relationships for African communities and businesses in the ethical fashion and textile sector.

The collaboration, meant to eradicate poverty and improve the basic living standards of Nairobi women, has led to the introduction of a new collection of Vivienne Westwood bags.

Overall, the program supports the work of over 7,000 women who live in dire conditions of poverty. The program has enabled these people to have access to a job and income, thereby improving their standard of living.

According to reports, there are plans to move into the U.S. next year through a deal with Wal-Mart to distribute products online.
