Hearties, are you ready to find out what your favorite “When Calls the Heart” characters are up to after the exciting events of the 2018 Christmas special? We hope so because the Season 6 premiere airs tonight on Hallmark Channel!

International Business Times debuted an exclusive clip from episode 1 earlier this week, featuring Abigail (Lori Loughlin) and Bill (Jack Wagner), but you’ll soon be able to check out the full showing.

In “Phone Rings and Heartstrings,” the Season 6 premiere episode, “the town of Hope Valley adjusts to the changing times – while still maintaining the small-town bonds that connect them,” according to the synopsis. “After taking time off to care for her new baby, [Jack], Elizabeth (Erin Krakow) returns to teaching but soon realizes she needs more support than she could have imagined.”

The synopsis continues: “Abigail prepares for the arrival of the telephone to Hope Valley. Bill and Gowen (Martin Cummins) enter a bidding war for the town saloon. When Rosemary (Pascale Hutton) senses a spark between Faith [Andrea Brooks] and Carson [Paul Greene], she fans the flames trying to get a romance started.”

The new “When Calls the Heart” episode was written by Alfonso H. Moreno and directed by Neill Fearnley. The cast also includes Kavan Smith (Leland “Lee” Coulter), Johannah Newmarch (Molly Sullivan), Hrothgar Mathews (Ned), Loretta Walsh (Florence Blakeley), Aren Buchholz (Jesse), Eva Bourne (Clara) and Ben Rosenbaum (Hickam).

While there will be a few new additions to the cast in Season 6, including Chris McNally and Kevin McGarry, fans will have to wait a little while longer to see them in an episode.

“When Calls the Heart” Season 6 premieres on Sunday on Hallmark Channel at 8 p.m. EST.
