Jim Carrey is dating his "Kidding" co-star Ginger Gonzaga, People magazine confirmed Sunday after the two stars were spotted walking hand in hand making a red carpet debut at the Showtime Golden Globes Nominees Celebration in West Hollywood, California.

The 34-year-old actress was seen wearing a plunging white dress with a pair of white and black heels, while her 56-year-old boyfriend arrived in a long black suit jacket with matching pants and a white shirt. The pair were beaming at each other during the event.

Gonzaga has previously starred in the Showtime series "I’m Dying Up Here", which Carrey executive-produced. She was also part of the Seth MacFarlane-directed 2012 film "Ted."

After the red carpet debut, Gonzaga shared some behind-the-scenes photos, writing about her new boyfriend's nomination: "Most partial to this talented nominee." Carrey has been nominated for a Golden Globe Award for best performance by an actor in a television series, comedy or musical, for his role as Jeff in "Kidding."

Gonzaga and Carrey also attended the 2018 Golden Globe Awards together Sunday. The couple wore matching black ensembles for the awards show. Carrey sported a huge grin as he pulled his new girlfriend close while posing for photos.

Carrey opened up about his love life in November, explaining in an interview with the Radio Times that while he does lead an “isolated life,” he hadn't given up on dating.

"You could describe my home life as isolated. I spend a lot of time by myself but I like it, so it’s OK. That might be strange to some people, but I enjoy it," he said at the time. "I love to read and I enjoy painting and working on sculptures [in my free time]. And I date."

Carrey was previously married to actress Melissa Womer, 58 for 1987 to 1995 and share a daughter, Jane. He then married his "Dumb and Dumber" co-star Lauren Holly, 55 in 1996 but split less than a year later.

Carrey got engaged to his "Me, Myself & Irene" co-star Renee Zellweger in 1999 but their relationship ended the next year. He was then in a relationship with Jenny McCarthy from 2006 to 2010.

Carrey also dated Cathriona White, who died from a prescription drug overdose in 2015. Since then, the actor has not been romantically linked to anyone.
