Jim Carrey is finally breaking his silence – through his lawyers – regarding his late ex-girlfriend Cat White’s allegations that he gave her STDs.

In the motion that Carrey’s team filed in court on Friday, it was revealed that White altered her friend’s Planned Parenthood files to trick the actor into thinking that White did not have STDs before she met him. In the filing, it was also claimed that White’s 2013 negative test result was dated 2011. White allegedly gave Carrey the form and made him believe that it was hers.

According to US Weekly, Carrey will be placed under oath on Oct. 27. He will be questioned by Michael Avenatti, the lead lawyer representing White’s family. White, who passed away due to an apparent suicide in September 2015, is being defended by her husband, Mark Burton, and mom, Brigid Sweetman.

Burton and Sweetman filed the suit against the actor one year after White’s death and claimed that the drugs found in her body came from bottles of pills carrying Carrey’s pseudonym.

Last month, a letter written by White dated April 8, 2013 was released online via People. The late makeup artist expressed her disappointment in Carrey. She also revealed that Carrey apologized to her, but knew that it did not come from his heart.

“Before you I might not have had very much but I had respect, I was a happy person, I loved life, I was confident and I felt good in my skin and was proud of most decisions I made. I met you, you introduced me to cocaine, prostitutes, mental abuse and disease. You did good things for me but being with you broke me down as a person, Jim,” she wrote.

White’s mom and husband are also suing the actor for exposing her to drugs even though Carrey was allegedly aware that she was prone to depression. After the letter was released, Carrey’s attorney, Ray Boucher, said that the “evidence was pure fraud.”

On Friday’s filing, it was also noted that despite what happened to Carrey and White, the “Liar, Liar” actor did love her when they were still together.
