Naya Rivera was arrested Saturday night. The actress is accused of hitting her husband Ryan Dorsey.

Rivera was in Kanawha County, West Virginia, where her husband grew up, when she and Dorsey were on a walk with their 2-year-old. Rivera allegedly hit Dorsey in the head and bottom lip, WSAZ reports. Dorsey took a video on his cell phone during the incident and handed the footage to the authorities when they arrived. The police arrested her for domestic battery.

The “Glee” actress was arraigned after 12 a.m. EST Sunday. She was released on $1000 bail, and Dorsey’s father picked up Rivera from jail.

Though she has been working in Hollywood since childhood, the 30-year-old is best known for her role as snarky cheerleader Santana Lopez on “Glee.” She was on the musical comedy for all six seasons.

Since the show ended in 2015, she has appeared on “Devious Maids” and “American Dad!” She is set to return to TV as a series regular in YouTube Red’s new show “Step Up: High Water,” based on the dance movie franchise, next year.

Rivera’s life off camera has been making headlines for years. The California native’s disagreements with “Glee” co-star Lea Michele were in the spotlight for several seasons, but the actress revealed in her memoir that those reports were exaggerated. In her 2016 memoir, “Sorry Not Sorry: Dreams, Mistakes and Growing Up,” Rivera explained that their personalities clashed.

“She started to ignore me, and eventually it got to the point where she didn’t say a word to me for all of Season 6,” Rivera wrote. “Lea and I definitely weren’t the best of friends, and I doubt we’ll ever sit on her couch and eat kale together again, but the rumors of our ‘feud’ were blown out of proportion.”

Rivera was also in tabloids after getting married to Dorsey in 2014 — just three months after breaking up with rapper Big Sean, to whom she was engaged. Rivera later revealed in her book that she and Dorsey had a long history going back to 2010.

Their relationship was in headlines again when Rivera filed for divorce in November 2016. Rivera was seeking primary physical custody of their son Josey with visitation rights for Dorsey.

“After much consideration, we have made the decision to end our marriage,” the couple said in a joint statement last year. “Our priority is and always will be our beautiful son that we share together. We will continue to be great co-parenting partners for him. We ask for respect and privacy for our family during this difficult time.”

However, they called off the divorce earlier this fall. “It is what it is, but I’m glad that my family is together,” Rivera told People in October about reuniting with Dorsey.
