  • Whoopi Goldberg, Ana Navarro and Joy Behar no longer want to work with Meghan McCain
  • Goldberg, the "chillest" host on "The View," could allegedly no longer take McCain
  • All of the hosts on "The View" reportedly raised complaints to Kim Godwin about McCain

Meghan McCain's "The View" co-hosts were allegedly relieved with her departure because she became so insufferable on set that they no longer wanted to work with her, a report has claimed.

McCain recently announced her exit on the talk show. According to sources, even Whoopi Goldberg could no longer take her.

"Everyone was at their wits’ end — even Whoopi, and she’s the chillest of them all. Whoopi is never going to advocate for anyone to get fired. She’s not about that, but she was very clear that she no longer wanted to work with Meghan," an unnamed source told Page Six.

The tipster added that the part-time conservative co-host, Ana Navarro, "probably drank so many goddamn margaritas" to celebrate McCain's exit announcement last week.

Meanwhile, the insider noted that Goldberg, Navarro and Joy Behar have all voiced out that they no longer wanted to work with McCain.

"It happened as soon as [new ABC News president] Kim [Godwin] came in. It was right after Joy and Meghan’s huge [on-air] blow up [in May] where the network called an emergency meeting. They told new management, ‘We don’t want to work with her anymore,'" the source said.

"Whoopi was clear that she didn’t want to work with her either. There have been so many well-documented issues, and [Meghan] has not made a good impression on new management. [The hosts] all came with complaints to Kim about Meghan."

Multiple sources claimed that ABC always had McCain's back. Sunny Hostin was allegedly told to "get along with Meghan or get out" when she was at odds with McCain. So, they had a "faux friendship."

McCain said departing from the show was not an "easy decision." However, another unnamed source said she had been "miserable" and had been contemplating on leaving shortly after joining the talk show in 2017.

"She’s been wanting to get out, especially since she now lives in the DC area with her family. She doesn’t want to come back to New York and be a part of that show. She’s been miserable since she started," an anonymous source told Page Six. "ABC begged for her to stay, [and] she said, 'No — I’m done! I’m not staying anymore.'"
