After his stint in rehab, Ben Affleck began reconnecting with his ex-girlfriend Lindsay Shookus. Following several outings together, a new report is claiming the “Batman” star has asked the “Saturday Night Live” employee to move in with him.

Affleck finalized his divorce from ex-wife Jennifer Garner in 2018, three years after the two announced their separation. While the 46-year-old actress supported her ex throughout his time in rehab, once he completed treatment for his alcohol addiction, the actor began focusing on leading a more positive lifestyle.

According to In Touch Weekly, this change included going above and beyond to make sure he secures his future with Shookus. “Now that he’s sober and she’s giving him a second chance, he refuses to let her slip away again, and he’s asked her to move in,” an alleged source told the outlet.

While Affleck resides in California and Shookus is based in New York, the couple is reportedly doing their best to make sure the distance doesn’t become an issue in their relationship.

The supposed confidant claims Shookus is “willing to split her time between the two coasts and is moving some of her belongings into Ben’s place.”

Those close to Affleck revealed the “Gone Girl” star has been committed to making his relationship with Shookus last this time around. “Ben has been telling those close to him that his biggest mistake was letting Lindsay go.”

Earlier this month, Shookus insiders confirmed the “SNL” staff member was officially back together with Affleck and working on moving their relationship forward.

“She has been a positive impact on his life. They had remained friends, and started their relationship again. They’re obviously back together. She is his number one supporter,” the source told People.

Despite the rumors, Affleck has not acknowledged reports claiming he asked Shookus to move in with him.
