Jennifer Garner is officially a single woman after finalizing her divorce from Ben Affleck earlier this week and sources revealed the star has already begun dating again. However, it doesn’t mean the “Peppermint” actress has found a serious relationship.

The former couple, who filed for divorce in April 2017, share three children together--daughters Violet, 12, and Seraphina, 9, and son, Samuel, 6. Although Garner is exploring the idea of dating a new man, her little ones continue to remain her top priority.

“She has been on dates, but it seems she isn’t serious about a guy. As always, she is mostly focused on her kids and her job,” a source told People.

While Garner isn’t interested in rushing into a romance, she is hoping to eventually find someone she can share her life with. “Jen doesn’t want to be single for the rest of her life, so she is open to dating,” the insider explained.

Meanwhile, Affleck has split from his rumored fling, Shauna Sexton. “It was casual and not serious,” a source told Entertainment Tonight.

Those close to the “Batman” star reportedly encouraged him to hold off on pursuing a romance with Sexton to focus on his treatment in rehab. “He has been told to hold off on a relationship... but isn’t heeding that advice.”

Following news of the break-up, it appears Affleck decided to focus on the people who mean the most to him. “Ben’s only priority right now is his sobriety and his family,” the insider added.

Garner reportedly staged an intervention for her then-husband over the summer when she learned he began drinking again. The actress held off on finalizing their divorce until the 46-year-old completed treatment for his alcohol addiction.

“She has had no choice but to be patient since Ben needed to finish his rehab treatment. But she was ready to sign the papers,” an insider shared with People.

“Jen has been wanting to move on and now when the divorce is finalized, she finally can,” the source added.

Aside from moving on from her marriage with Affleck, Garner will make her return to television in Lena Dunham’s limited series, “Camping,” which will premiere on Sunday at 10 p.m. EDT on HBO.
