Prior to his marriage with Kate Middleton, Prince William was a young man who reportedly had a “naughty” reputation. Although he was known for his connection to the Royal Family, the Duke of Cambridge had a talent for discreetly checking out females.

During his early days at the University of St Andrews, William and his friends would often talk about the eligible girls on campus. However, according to one of Prince William’s school pals, the royal was secretly a “ladies man” reputation.

In the book, “William and Catherine,” Andrew Morton claimed William had his eye on a few women while he attended the university.

“William was known for his roving eye, which would cast around a room checking out the female talent, while he appeared to be absorbed in his companion’s conversation,” the royal biographer wrote.

One of William’s University friends told Morton the royal had a scandalous past. “Everyone thinks Harry is the naughty one. Not true. William is a ladies’ man,” the insider claimed.

Despite William’s controversial reputation, his pals thought he had the best shot at dating Kate. “Guys would go to the canteen for breakfast, and they would eye up Kate,” Prince William’s school pal Michael Choong told Morton.

Seeing as the future Duchess of Cambridge received the nickname “Beautiful Kate,” William’s friends didn’t attempt to pursue a romance with her. “They’d be joking, ‘Who’s going to date Kate?’ Then someone would turn to Will and remark, ‘Obviously, you’ve got the best chance.’”

Kate and Prince William eventually began dating, but their romance was full of drama. The couple allegedly broke up several times due to William feeling suffocated in the relationship. The Prince eventually proposed to Kate in 2010, and the couple married the following year.

Since their royal wedding, Prince William and Kate have had three children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. William and Kate are reportedly hand-on parents, who work together to give their kids a normal life while fulfilling their royal duties.
