Meghan Markle’s dad, Thomas Markle Sr., won’t be invited to his grandson Archie’s christening next month. The other members of the Markle clan won’t also receive an invitation to the royal event.

Royal expert Russell Myers recently told Express that there’s zero chance for the Markles to be invited to the event even though Thomas has not been giving interviews to the press for weeks.

“They are pretty vocal, aren’t they? Thomas has quieted down over the past few weeks and months since Archie has come along definitely… But her half-brother, Thomas Markle Jr., has said he thinks it would be the perfect opportunity for a family reunion,” Myers said.

Earlier this week, Markle’s half-brother said that he’s hopeful that the Duchess of Sussex would say enough is enough when it comes to their family’s ongoing feud. He also said that he doesn’t know if he will be invited to his nephew’s christening, but he would more than willing to attend.

Myers said that even though Archie’s christening could indeed be the perfect opportunity for Markle to reunite with her family, he will put his neck out and say that there’s no chance that this would actually happen.

“From her point of view, they have moved into this beautiful home of Frogmore Cottage, they are making their family nest, and what’s the reason to make it happen now? I think the dust clearly needs to settle lots more before that side of the family are brought into the [royal] family,” he said.

Despite his thoughts, Myers acknowledged the fact that the situation is sad for Prince Harry’s wife, as well as her dad and their relatives. However, it’s also hard to come out of a situation where they attacked the Duchess of Sussex nonstop even before she wed the Duke of Sussex.

As such, Thomas Sr. and his sons shouldn’t expect that they will be brought back into the royal fold anytime soon.
