Prince George and Princess Charlotte are rarely seen throwing tantrums in public especially now that they are a bit older.

On the online forum site Quora, one royal fan asked why the royal siblings seem to always be on their best behavior when they are out in public. But another royal fan begged to differ.

Rachel Anderson, a scientist, uploaded a series of photos showing Prince George and Princess Charlotte acting rowdy in public. One of the snaps taken two years ago shows Princess Charlotte throwing a tantrum before boarding the plane.

In another photo, Kate Middleton is lifting Prince George off the ground to console him while he’s crying. Anderson said that Prince William and Middleton’s children actually act up in public. However, these kinds of stories are not normally publicized because the media prefers writing about how cute the royal youngsters are.

Last year, Princess Charlotte fell from the stool that she was standing on while at the Buckingham Palace balcony. She cried briefly but Middleton managed to comfort her immediately.

“In reality, they get stroppy, whiny, tired, and overestimated like any other children, and at the same rate. The Royals are somewhat different in that they can call on childcare professionals for practical advice, and simply to take the children away when it all gets too much,” Anderson said.

Other royal fans credited Middleton for the way that she’s raising her three children. Eileen Wood, a real estate assistant, said that she’s always been impressed with the Duchess of Cambridge because she has so much patience for her kids.

“Can you imagine making overseas trips of 15 hours flying time with a toddler? I can’t… And she does so well with the kids, too… I’ve always been very impressed with her as a mother,” she said.

Middleton was last seen in public with her children at this week’s Chelsea flower show.
