Meghan Markle and Prince Harry reportedly took the train after their trip to Loughborough University on Monday so they could head back home sooner.

A video of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex being escorted by the palace staff at a train station has just been released online. In the short clip, Markle and Prince Harry are walking briskly while still holding hands to catch the train.

“Bizarrely sharing my train with Harry and Meghan today,” Twitter user Jonny Norton captioned the video.

The recent sighting is not the first time that Markle and Prince Harry took the public transportation for an official engagement. Earlier this year, they also did a similar thing during their trip to Cardiff. Prince Harry told the royal fans who waited for them in the cold that the trains were late that’s why they weren’t able to arrive on time.

“Most of you have freezing cold hands! We’re very sorry we’re late. Blame the trains!” he said.

According to Fox News, Prince William and Kate Middleton have also traveled via public transport on several occasions. In 2013, the parents of Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis were seen riding a bus to a local Tube station to support poppy sellers.

But According to The Telegraph, the royal couple didn’t have to line up to ride the bus. They were picked up by the driver at Kensington Palace.

In the same year, Prince William made headlines for taking the train to London and carrying his own bag. According to E! News, the Duke of Cambridge was still accompanied by his entourage, but he just opted to carry his own bag. It is also important to note that Prince William took a first-class Virgin train from Anglesey to London.

And when she was still alive, Princess Diana was known for taking Prince William and Prince Harry on London Underground tube rides and buses. Ken Wharfe, Princess Diana’s former bodyguard, said that there was one-time Prince Harry imitated the accent of the conductor on the bus and Princess Diana reprimanded her son.

Wharfe revealed that the Princess of Wales smacked Prince Harry’s back and urged him to never do it again.
