Prince William reportedly thinks that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s stand on privacy is detrimental to the monarchy.

In the Channel 5 documentary “William and Harry: Princes at War?” royal expert Ingrid Seward said that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been snubbing royal protocol in a very unroyal way from what the public might have expected.

“But then Harry's excuse was: 'Well, I'm a private person.' But you cannot be royal and be sixth in line to the throne and be a private person… I would think it might bother William a little bit because he might see the way that Harry and Meghan do things as being detrimental to the business of the monarchy as a whole,” she said.

Prince Harry and Markle have been criticized time and time again over every single thing that they have been doing. Last year, the Duchess of Sussex was criticized for accepting a royal title after she married Prince Harry. Markle and Prince Harry also took money from the public to fund their nuptials.

The royal couple was once again criticized for using the public’s money to fund the renovations for Frogmore Cottage. They were also slammed after their son’s birth because they decided to keep Archie’s christening private.

But royal author Katie Nicholl came to the couple’s defense by saying that they didn’t really break any royal protocol and tradition. Rather, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were just doing things differently.

Meanwhile, Prince William and Prince Harry are also rumored to be feuding with each other. According to Seward, the new dad didn’t give his older brother and Kate Middleton the chance to get to know Markle first before he decided to marry her.

As a result, Prince William and Middleton automatically had reservations about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s relationship, which was expected.

“And, of course, William and Kate would have quite naturally thought: ‘Oh she’s been married before, she's older than Harry, I hope she's going to make him happy.’ Anyone would think that,” she said.
