Ron Jeremy is in critical condition after he drove himself to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles after he began to suffer severe chest pains, his manager Mike Esterman told E! News Wednesday.

The doctors diagnosed the 59-year-old porn star with an aneurysm near his heart and rushed him in the intensive care unit.

"This has been a very difficult morning. We are awaiting the doctors to make a statement at this time," Esterman said to E! News.

The veteran porn star will be undergoing an emergency operation to fix the problem, according to his manager.

On Jeremy’s official Twitter page, his team sent out a tweet asking for his fans’ well wishes:

“Please keep Ron in your thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery. - (Management) #PrayForRon #Rontourage.”

Jeremy also appeared in cameos in "legitimate" films like “The Chase,” “The Boondock Saints,” “Killing Zoe” and “Orgazmo.”

He also tried a stint at reality television when he appeared on “The Surreal Life” and was the subject of the documentary “Porn Star: The Legend of Ron Jeremy.”

Some of Jeremy's fans to took Twitter to share their concern:

“It's never fun when you hear that one of your favorite childhood actors that you idolize is in the hospital. Get well soon Ron Jeremy,” said one.

Another person said, “Troma Team wishes Ron Jeremy a speedy recovery! He is a generous and talented soul.”
