As he prepares to celebrate his third Christmas since news broke of his divorce from Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt reportedly only has one thing on his wish list this year—more time with his kids that also happens to be far less dramatic.

According to Hollywood Life, the “Once Upon A Time In Hollywood” actor, 54, just wants to spend the most festive time of year with his kids—Maddox, 17, Pax, 14, Zahara, 13, Shiloh, 12 and twins Knox and Vivienne, 10—and that he hopes that the holidays will be far less dramatic than the rest of the year has been.

“The holidays are fast approaching and Brad is overall very excited about them coming because it is all about family and he is intending to make it completely drama free and fun,” a source told the website. “He wants to make sure he gets a lot of time with all his kids because they are growing up so fat and he wants to enjoy all the experiences he can have with them. It doesn’t have to be a big trip or be somewhere glitzy. He just wants to spend some personal time with them all and ring in the new year with good vibes all around.”

However, it’s unclear just how those plans may work out for him. He and Angelina Jolie were scheduled to see a judge on Dec. 4 to finally hash out all the terms of their custody battle and hopefully put an end to their two-year legal battle, but the couple has since opted to delay the proceedings further, by requesting an extension for their appointment with the judge. Previously the judge was set to preside over the trial until June 30, 2019, but now, he is authorized to stay on the case until Dec. 31 of next year.

The extension allows the couple to potentially work out a settlement and custody arrangement on their own terms, without any court-ordered decisions. While this could be beneficial for them if they work something out quickly, it could also lead to more drama in the meantime.

It’s unclear how this will affect any holiday plans the two actors have for their kids.
