Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie may have filed an extension amid their divorce and custody battle, but that doesn’t mean the estranged couple is getting back together.

Pitt and Jolie, who split in 2016, share six kids together Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh and twins Vivienne and Knox. The exes were scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday, Dec. 4 to begin their child custody case, but it appears they have delayed the trial.

According to Entertainment Tonight, Pitt and Jolie requested an extension for their appointment with a private temporary judge, who is assigned to oversee their custody proceedings and determine a property settlement in their divorce.

Honorable John Ouderkirk was only supposed to preside over the trial until June 30, 2019, but after the “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” star and his estranged wife filed an extension, the judge is now authorized to stay on the case until Dec. 31, 2019.

That means Pitt and Jolie now have extra time to try to negotiate a divorce settlement and custody arrangement without any court-ordered decisions. However, if the former couple can’t reach an amicable agreement, it will be up to the judge to make a final decision.

Jolie is reportedly asking for physical custody of the children, while Pitt has requested a joint legal and physical custody arrangement.
