Will Smith's 29-year-old son Trey stepped in to rescue his scared father from a tarantula Saturday.

In the video shared by the 53-year-old actor himself, he can be seen standing on a chair as he sees a giant spider.

"What the whole hell? That is a big-a-s spider!" he says looking at the hairy spider. The actor's son corrects him and says, it's a "tarantula."

Smith immediately looks at his son in the room and asks him for help, "C'mon, you're young and strong. You can handle the bite." Trey looks at his father, who was recording the clip and gave him a "are you serious" look.

Trey went ahead and put a glass on the spider before sliding a paper beneath to pick up the spider. After Smith felt safe, he could hold the captured tarantula and announced jokingly, "We're selling the house."

"Posting this from a Holiday Inn," Smith captioned the video shared on Instagram over the weekend.

Celebs shared their reactions in the comments section. Musician Adym Evans wrote, "Oh hell no!!! Lol" while producer Brad Haugen praised Trey, "You're a damn hero." Actress Naomi Scott noted how Smith said, "We're selling the house" and dropped laughing emojis.

Smith shares Trey with his ex-wife Sheree Zampino. The former couple was married from 1992 to 1995. The actor went on to marry Jada Pinkett Smith in 1997 and the couple shares two kids - Willow, 21, and Jaden, 24.

On the work front, Smith was last seen in the TV series, "This Joka," which was dropped in March. Considering his upcoming projects, he will be seen in an action thriller movie, "Emancipation," helmed by director Antoine Fuqua and penned by William N. Collage. The movie is expected to release next year.

Smith will portray drug trafficker Nicky Barnes on-screen in the upcoming biographical drama, "The Council," which was directed and penned by Peter Landesman. The crime drama is currently under pre-production.

The actor will also appear in another crime action movie, "Fast and Loose," which is penned by Erich Hoeber and Jon Hoeber. Smith will play John Riley's character in the flick.

The actor will also reprise Mike Lowrey's character for the highly anticipated movie, "Bad Boys 4," which will also star Martin Lawrence, Lex Elle, and Yahudah Bane Brown.

Lawrence, who is known for playing Marcus Burnett's character in the movie, also shared his excitement to work on the fourth installment last month.
