Season 1 of Netflix’s new post-apocalyptic teen series, “Daybreak,” just released on the platform on Thursday, but those who have already binged all 10 episodes are likely thinking about what’s next for the show and if there will be a Season 2.

Unfortunately, Netflix isn’t always as quick to make renewal and cancellation decisions as viewers are to binge-watch their shows. The company hasn’t yet picked “Daybreak” up for another season, leaving the possibility of a Season 2 still up in the air.

International Business Times did ask some of the cast and crew about the end of Season 1, though, and if it sets up the show to continue on for a second season.

“Yes, I would absolutely say that,” Austin Crute (Wesley) told IBT at New York Comic Con earlier this month, with executive producer Aron Eli Coleite later seconding that, telling IBT, “We leave a lot open” for a possible Season 2.

While Alyvia Alyn Lind (Angelica) also couldn’t share too much about the continuation of “Daybreak,” she did reveal the Netflix show “definitely does” set things up for future storylines.

“[Fans] are definitely gonna want to know what happens next,” Lind said. “It’s a cliffhanger.”

Season 1 of “Daybreak” is now streaming on Netflix.
