Les Twins bested Keone & Mari despite their injury in the divisional finals for “World of Dance” Season 1. NBC

“World of Dance” Season 1 recently named the three contestants who will be facing off in the world finals.

After Tuesday night’s heated divisional finals, Eva Igo, Les Twins and Swing Latino became the top three contenders in the hit NBC reality TV competition. Igo bested fellow junior dancer Diana Pombo with her emotional yet very powerful routine. Igo, 14, received an average score of 96.7. Pombo’s “Alice in Wonderland”-inspired number only earned her an average score of 89.3.

Upper division dancers Keone & Mari once again invested in their strong connection as a married couple. For their routine, the Madrids danced to Frank Sinatra’s hit song, “The Way You Look Tonight.” Their dance earned them an average score of 95. One of the judges even gave the couple the first 100 of the season.

However, it was Les Twins that really stood out tonight in “World of Dance.” Despite one of them being injured, the Parisian brothers decided to still push through with the competition. One of the twins sat on a wheelchair throughout their performance, and even though it seemed as though they were at a disadvantage, they earned a score of 97.9.

Meanwhile, team dancers Swing Latino and Kinjaz also competed against each other. Kinjaz’s slowed down routine did not have as much impact with the judges as their previous number. Last week, guest judge Misty Copeland said that their dance was close to perfection. This week, the all-male dance trouped received an average score of 92.3.

Swing Latino, on the other hand, incorporated their quick dance moves with their famous Latin flair. Judge Derek Hough said that the group embodied the essence of “World of Dance.” They received an average score of 94.7.

Next week, the three top-scorers will dance for the very last time before one of them is named the winner of “World of Dance” Season 1. Eva Igo, Les Twins or Swing Latino could bring home the $1 million grand prize that would certainly change their lives.

On her Twitter account, judge and executive producer Jennifer Lopez invited all her fans to tune in to the final episode of the summer show.

“World of Dance” Season 1 airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. EDT on NBC.
