Kurt Angle has been in the wrestling entertainment business for so long, and he has undoubtedly placed his mark in the industry. Now 50 years old, the well-decorated former Olympian could be finally closing the book on his storied wrestling career.

And the best way to close out a great career for someone like Angle is to perhaps have his final match at Wrestlemania 35, Oh You Didn’t Know pointed out. The annual WWE spectacle is the perfect time for him to walk away, something similar to what past WWE legends have done.

But in the WWE, branding it Kurt Angle’s last match may be nothing more than a publicity stunt to gain attention. Most have seen WWE stars like Hulk Hogan do the same in past Wrestlemania events, only to come back and even wrestle. It is likely that Angle could return at some point in the future but on an as-needed basis.

With all these in mind, the rumored departure of the former WWE champion may be a bit odd, especially for folks who have been following WWE shows (Raw and Smackdown). In another report by Oh You Didn’t Know, Brad Shephard tackled the physical condition of Angle.

It seems that Angle is having problems mobility-wise like getting out of the car. In all, the 6-foot WWE star is not in good physical shape, and this is why most are speculating that he will formally walk away from competing in the WWE ring. Like most legends, he could end up playing a role behind the scenes unless he has plans of moving to another promotion.

Regardless of his plans, Angle’s last match needs to be epic. So the better question right now is who he will face at Wrestlemania 35 when it unfolds at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey on April 8.

There are several names suggested. The list includes Jeff Hardy, Samoa Joe, Drew McIntyre, AJ Styles, Baron Corbin or even John Cena. From the list, Cena could be a sensible choice to send off the WWE Hall of Famer.

If not a singles match, Angle could be in tag team action. He has been involved in the company of giants like Corbin, Braun Strowman and Lashley, possibly a better option since he is having issues with mobility.

With Wrestlemania 35 more than a month away, Angle’s potential last match should take shape so keep an eye out on the storylines.
