AnTuTu, the benchmarking app, has released its Top 10 best performance smartphones for Q1 2016. The Xiaomi Mi 5 that is powered by Snapdragon 820 has defeated its competitors like Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and iPhone 6S.

Xiaomi Mi 5, the successor model of Mi 4 from 2014, is at the No. 1 position of AnTuTu’s Top 10 best performance smartphones with a high score of 136,875. The SD 820 chipset on the Mi 5 is supported by 4 GB of RAM. The 5.15-inch display of Xiaomi Mi 5 supports full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge with the next best score of 134,599 is at the second position. It is not known whether the S7 Edge mentioned on AnTuTu’s list is powered by Exynos 8890 or Snapdragon 820. Both the chipset variants of the smartphone are supported by 4 GB of RAM.

The Apple iPhone 6S from 2015 is at the third position with a score of 133,781. It is fueled by Apple A9 SoC and 2 GB of RAM that can be also found powering the newly released iPhone SE.

The Huawei Mate 8 powered by the home-baked HiSilicon Kirin 950 SoC scored 91,157. The fifth place goes to Meizu Pro 5 driven by Exynos 7420 SoC. It has scored 86,322 on the benchmarking site. Both the smartphones come in 32 GB and 64 GB models that feature 3 GB and 4 GB of RAM, respectively.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is at the sixth position with a score of 83,364. It also driven by Exynos 7420 SoC, a product from Samsung. The SoC of Galaxy Note 5 is coupled with 4 GB of RAM. The seventh spot goes to LeTV Max that is powered by Snapdragon 810 and 4 GB RAM.
