She is finally being released from prison after serving time for the car accident that wound up taking Hilary’s life, but Cane will have an uphill battle if he intends to try and convince Lily to give their lives together another shot on the Friday, April 19 episode of “The Young and the Restless.”
After learning that Cane (Daniel Goddard) had kissed Victoria (Amelia Heinle) while she was in jail, Lily (Christel Khalil) decided she was finally done with their marriage for good on the CBS soap and filed for divorce. Cane went to try and appeal to her and learned she was getting out early, but she had remained firm that she wanted a fresh start outside of Genoa City and away from him. However, the day for her to come home has arrived—and Cane is still determined to convince her that their marriage is worth saving.

However, no matter how much he begs her to give him another chance, Lily seems to still be resolute that this is what she wants and needs.
“Lily begins a new chapter,” spoilers reveal.
However, even with Lily insisting that the best thing for them both considering their history is moving on, Cane will still refuse to give up -and may even decide to use the restaurant launch that Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Devon (Bryton James) are hosting as an excuse to take her on a date and convince her that it’s worth keeping their family together, even with the struggles they have faced.
However, if he really does stand any chance at all, it may come later, as a major trauma is set to befall the Winters family that they never saw coming.
“The Young and the Restless” airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
