They have only just learned of his sudden and shocking death, but now, those who loved Neil, including loved ones from far away, will all gather for his memorial on the Thursday, April 25 episode of “The Young and the Restless.”

Genoa City’s residents were all left in shock as news that Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John) had passed away began to spread through town, and naturally, many are devastated because of the impact he had on their lives on the CBS soap. However, the hardest moment to come has now arrived, as his children, Devon (Bryton James) and Lily (Christel Khalil), other family members and friends all gather for his memorial service.

Among those who will be attending his memorial will, of course, be family members like Lily, Devon, Cane (Daniel Goddard), Mattie (Lexie Stevenson), Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry), Ana (Loren Lott) and Nate (Sean Dominic), but also several others whose lives were touched. Jack (Peter Bergman) and Ashley (Eileen Davidson), Nick (Joshua Morrow), Sharon (Sharon Case), Mariah (Camryn Grimes), Phyllis (Gina Tognoni), Billy (Jason Thompson), Victoria (Amelia Heinle), Jill (Jess Walton), Victor (Eric Braden) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) will also be there because of how much Neil meant to them.

They still won’t be the only ones, however, like his brother, Malcolm (Shemar Moore) who also returns, as do his former loves, Leslie (Angell Conwell) and Sofia (Julia Pace Mitchell).

Even with so many people there showing love and support for Neil however, the service will be difficult, and everyone will have a hard time as they try to hold back tears. It is likely to go down as one of the saddest days in Genoa City history—if not the most heartbreaking for everyone involved.

“The Young and the Restless” airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
