He made the ultimate sacrifice of marrying Summer so the woman he really loves could live, but Kyle could find himself tempted to break his marriage vows in order to be with Lola again on the Thursday, April 11 episode of “The Young and the Restless.”

In order to get Lola (Sasha Calle) the transplant she needed to save her life, Kyle (Michael Mealor) struck a deal with the only donor match, Summer (Hunter King), where he would marry her in exchange for her allowing Lola to live on the CBS soap. They did marry and the surgery was done, with the truth eventually getting out—and knowing they can’t be together has been difficult for both Lola and Kyle as a result. However, after some coaching to go after what she wants, Lola asked Kyle to dinner and suggested they see what they can be—potentially suggesting they still try to be together, even though he is a married man.

“Kyle and Lola take a risk,” spoilers reveal.

However, even if Kyle does take Lola up on her offer, it seems unlikely they will still go through with having an affair because until this point, she wanted to save her virginity for someone and something special, and losing it for this reason will likely keep them going too far. In addition, though he wants to be with Lola, Kyle will likely realize he needs to obey his vows, and before anything else can happen, he either needs to decide to stay committed to Summer, or he needs to end their marriage first.

Still, the amount of risk they do take could still cost them big in the end.

What they don’t know is that Phyllis (Gina Tognoni), who suspects Kyle won’t stay faithful to Summer, has been having them tailed by a private investigator, with the intent of likely using his alleged unfaithful behavior to try and blackmail Jack (Peter Bergman) to release Fenmore’s from Jabot. If she gets the pictures she seeks, then even doing the right thing and not sleeping together could still prove to have been a very wrong move for the young pair to make.

“The Young and the Restless” airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
