'Young And The Restless' Spoilers: Will Tragedy Strike On Nikki’s Watch?

They’re already dealing with a lot because of the continued attempts to cover up what happened to JT. However, the Newman family could be handed their most devastating blow as a result of a mistake Nikki makes on the Thursday, Jan. 31 episode of “The Young and the Restless.”

The Newman family has been stressing over the fact that Victor (Eric Braeden) has been framed for JT’s (Thad Luckinbill) murder, but they’ve had to maneuver carefully as they try to prove his innocence because otherwise, the real truth could come out on the CBS soap. Since she is the one who actually committed the murder, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) in particular has been stressing out the most. However, her inability to relax could have some potentially devastating and tragic consequences for Victoria’s (Amelia Heinle) family.

A preview clip for the week’s episodes shows Victoria’s daughter with Billy (Jason Thompson), Katie (Sienna Mercuri) goes missing while at the Newman ranch. If Nikki was watching her and allowed her out of her sight, it could mean that someone snatched the little girl.

Katie has been exhibiting strange behavior lately, telling everyone she’s playing hide-and-seek and having a secret conversation with a friend, who they all believe is imaginary. However, if it is, in fact, a real person, one who has an agenda against the Newmans, Katie’s “friendship” could be the reason she’s gone missing—and could also be the reason she might wind up in extreme danger.
